DESIGN TEAM CALL!!!

If you came here looking for the monthly challenge, that is still happening, don't worry!  Just scroll down and you'll see the latest post explaining all the challenge details!

I am putting out a call for new Design Team members!  If anyone is interested, here is what you need to do:
1. Your entry must be a new project (no back-dated posts please) and use one of my images from any of the stamp companies I have drawn for.  It doesn't matter if it is rubber or digital, as long as it is one of my illustrations.
You can enter as many times as you'd like.  HINT: The more entries I see from you, the more serious you look about wanting a spot on my team.  :-D
2. Please post the Design Team Call button on your blog and link it back to this post.
If you do not follow those two instructions your entry will be deleted!

As a member of Crissy's Crew, you will be expected to create only one card per month.  You will be assigned a date to post every month and that will stay the same.  On that date you will post your creation on your blog and on the Sundays With Crissy challenge blog.  You will also be expected to leave comments on some of the cards that people enter into the challenge.  You know how we all love nice comments!

In return you get to have any of my digital images you want and as many as you can use, free of charge.  And you get the extra attention and friendships that go along with being on a great team of ladies!

I look for people who love my images.  I don't want anyone to feel intimidated about trying out for the team!  You don't have to have a thousand followers on your blog or to think of yourself as an expert colour-er to try out.  Newbies welcome to try, don't be shy!!  I am looking for people who love my images and who love to make cards.  Because when you love what you do, it shines through in your art work.  And enthusiasm is what sells it to someone else, not necessarily just mad colouring skills!

Link up your try-out creations using the Inlinkz option below.  If you wish to combine your entry with this month's challenge theme of "Distressing" please feel free to do so!:

Distressing with Patricia

Hello it's my turn to share my Distresses card with you. I decided on this Darling Daisies image available at Whimsy Stamps, by the way this is one of my all time favorites. I distressed all the edges of my design papers including my image, then I inked all the edges with distress ink. For more details on my card please visit my Blog HERE.

You have a few more days to join in on the DT call..... and....... To enter your De-stressed creation Click HERE!!!

There will be five free digi's given to one lucky challenge participant who will be chosen by Random.org at the end of the month! You may now use images from any company and still be included in the draw for the blog candy prize! Those who use one of Crissy's images, either from her rubber or digital collections will be entered twice in the draw. But please respect the rule of no more than three entries per month.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Challenge 19 DT Call and Michele's Turn to Distress

Happy Sunday Everyone:-)
This months challenge is all about "distressing" so get the inks, distressed tools, nail files, sandpaper or whatever you like to distress with, and show us your creations!
Also we are currently having a DT call which Crissy has posted at the top of this page, So don't forget to read the details and join in the fun:-)

I picked a little older digi of Crissy's because I just think this Party Snail is the cutest thing ever! He can be found at Whimsy stamps. I Distressed the edge of the image with ink and the sentiment too! I also did a tiny bit of distressing with my distressed tool:-) I'll admit I like to use the distressed tool a tiny bit but not a lot, so my distressing is more adding the ink to the edges of the paper, hehe
Here is a full picture of my card finished, For more details on what I've done on my card, please come over for a visit HERE
Now it's your turn to show us your DE-STRESSED cards!!  There will be five free digi's given to one lucky challenge participant who will be chosen by Random.org at the end of the month! You may now use images from any company and still be included in the draw for the blog candy prize! Those who use one of Crissy's images, either from her rubber or digital collections will be entered twice in the draw. But please respect the rule of no more than three entries per month.Otherwise your entries could be deleted.
HERE'S HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR CARD OR PROJECT☺
First you need to go back to Sarahs Post HERE

Challenge #19--DT Call & Time to De-Stress!!

Well hello there!! I'm back after recovering from an eye injury (the dangers of bra shopping--LOL--that's a tale for another day!!) Thanks Crissy for taking over for me!!! Now before I get on with this month's challenge I want to point out that we are currently having a DESIGN TEAM CALL!!

If you haven't already seen the post detailing entry rules please click on the image above and you will be taken directly to the deets!!

Now for this month's challenge--it's all about De-Stressing!! At least that's how I like to spell it!! So get out your inks, your sandpaper and your distressing tools and show us your version of distressing.

Here's my version using Crissy's newest image, "Noah's Ark", from Whimsy Stamps!! I used a distressing tool around the edges of my artwork and the subsequent layers underneath. The water is made up of torn strips of paper that have been chalked. I also used Tim Holtz distressing inks around my artwork to give it that "out to sea" look. Don't ya just love those monkeys??? I'm pretty sure old Noah had lots of fun trying to keep them in check LOL!!

And the inside...

For details on my card you can go to my personal blog Sally Cicada Designs.
